Sane Designs, LLC was launched in 2005, when we left the worlds of law and animal welfare behind to make official (if not lucrative) all the ad hoc design help we had been giving to friends, friends of friends, neighbors of friends and anyone else who came along.

Both graduates of Brown University, we have 16 years of design experience between us. Our portfolio includes several high-end residences in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Westchester, as well as vacation homes in Connecticut, upstate New York and The Hamptons.

Sane Designs' projects reflect a clean, modern and warm sensibility. As New York City mothers (with five kids and two dogs between us), we have a true appreciation for urban family living. Functionality and comfort are always considered within the framework of a fresh and tasteful aesthetic. High-end custom work is often incorporated, but the perfect, mass-market bargain is never turned away. We are committed to listening to our clients and delivering a unique and special environment.

Sane Designs is skilled in all phases of the design process, including construction, renovation, and all aspects of interior design. Depending on the client's needs, we can provide floor plans and drawings, project management, room layouts and color schemes, as well as the selection of all interior materials and furnishings. Marital therapy is often also included at no extra charge.

We are involved in every aspect of every project - we are both slightly compulsive (in a good way). We are the only designers at Sane Designs. What matters most to us, above all, is that our clients are left with homes that they truly love.
